What is Social Emotional Support for Educators (SES)?

Social Emotional Support for Educators (SES) is a research-informed framework that centers the emotional, relational, and professional capacity of educators as a prerequisite for sustainable teaching and healthy school cultures.

 

Unlike traditional wellness initiatives that focus on individual coping or resilience, SES addresses the systemic conditions that shape how educators experience their work, recognizing that chronic stress, emotional labor, and burnout are not personal failures, but organizational realities.

 

SES prioritizes dignity over endurance, capacity over productivity, and sustainability over burnout by providing schools with tools, language, and structures that support educators as whole professionals.When
